phdesign is a creative canvas for my web designs and a soapbox to share my ideas and my code. This site has been around in one form or another since 2004, reflecting my learning progression as I have worked with vb6, c++, php and now .NET technologies.

I currently focus on c# .NET development, with javascript and xml / xslt when appropriate. I’m a passionate convert to ASP.NET MVC, this feels like right way to write web applications, and I’m trying to find any excuse to use SignalR.

phdesign is based on the WordPress platform because really, there just isn’t anything close to it using .NET and I can’t be bothered writing it.
